When Nathaly approached us about getting involved in her new Liberties Food Tour in early 2017 we jumped at the chance. The tour was launched through the AirBnb Experiences programme for Dublin in April 2017 and tours take place every Friday and Saturday. We opened our first Pop Up Shop for two weekends in November 2016 in O’ Connell Street, Dublin. It was a great experience and helped us bring our delicious fresh cookies to the city centre. The news was picked up by The Taste.ie on their award winning website. Check out the full piece here.
We were delighted to be named finalist in this year’s Women Mean Business Entrepreneur Awards but totally shocked to be named winners in of the WMB Sodexo Newcomer Award at the awards ceremony and conference at The Shelbourne Dublin! So this October we got married! We had a fabulous wedding in the heart of our favourite city, Dublin. On the big day we closed the shop (since all our friends were celebrating with us) and put this sign up. Well, Lovin’ Dublin picked it up and created quite a storm! Don’t worry, we were open again on Monday morning :-).
We had a fantastic evening decorating classic and chocolate shortbread cookies. There were prizes too for ‘Pridiest’, ‘Master Cookie Decorator’ and ‘God Loves a Trier’. We kept our energy levels up with blackberry shortcake cookie sandwiches and cookie and coffee milk cocktails… Delish…
We were so thrilled when the folks at Food and Wine Magazine approached us to do a special six page feature on cookies for their summer edition. We featured some great cookie recipes including our Strawberry Shortcake Cookie, Lemon Burst Cookie, Flour-less Double Chocolate Cookie, Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie, Raspberry Hazelnut Shortbread Cookie and our Strawberry Milk.
We were thrilled to have our little cookie shop named in the top three sweet treat spots in Dublin by Purity Belle. See the full piece here.
The lovely folks at thetaste.ie joined us for the opening of our first (and Ireland’s first) cookie shop in the historic and cultural hub that is The Liberties, Dublin. Jenny helping to launch the Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair 2016. The fair will take place in the Convention Centre in Dublin between February 5th and 7th. We will be there with some new fun boozy cookies!

Facts got in touch with us in December asking if we could help them out with their next video featuring American Christmas Cookies.
Jenny, of course, jumped at the chance to come up with some new recipes based on some traditional American Christmas Cookies: the Snickerdoodle, Spicy Ginger Snaps, Decorated Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Snowballs.
These guys seemed pretty happy about it :-)

‘The Brains of the operation’ as we call her, Elaine, was delighted to be invited to sit on panel for the fantastic Dublin Food Chain event on ‘The Business of Food: Turning Ideas into Invoices’ at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).
Topics included: Latest Trends in the Food Industry, Innovation in Agri-Food Technology, Third Level R&D Collaboration, New Business & Entrepreneurship and Developing New Ideas. Each member of the panel was interviewed before the event for their company story – here’s the video.
